Stainless steel spice racks are popular for their durability and the way they match practically any kitchen décor. Stainless is often used to construct the actual rack part. The jars that hold spices can be anything you want really, as long as they fit on the rack.

Stainless steel spice racks are often purchased as part of a set. A set usually features the rack itself, mounting hardware (unless it’s a standalone unit), and jars or containers that may or may not be already filled with a selection of the most popular dried spices. Stainless matches so well with a lot of different kitchens because of how much stainless is used in other kitchen appliances and fixtures.

Stainless steel spice racks can also be created as part of a DIY project. You can buy watchmaker cases and stainless panels to mount to the wall. Add circular magnets to the panel and the watchmaker jars stick on there perfectly.
